i don’t know, the post that’s up right now with the guy showing off his new cervelo with the seat pointed down, the aerobars pointed up and the chain sagging all in front of the wallpaper from that 70’s show is pretty funny. although i don’t think it was meant to be.
No the wallpaper was a background for the pic, It may be funny ,But not when I go by you at 23 mph…while you are still are at 18 mph…30 min down at T2 and the finish line…eating pizza drinkling a Coors Light…///////////

Those were funny but nothing beats the Becca posts.

I vote for helitech and his ‘twig & berries’ post, as in:
“Your shorts should have cham. pad and be tight enough that you can position your twig & berries forward & up, to avoid sitting on anything.”

i second monks IMFL slowman picture thread. I died laughing when I saw that. Somehow, I was magically revived.
In all seriousness… I was at the pool doing laps about 2 weeks ago when I remembered Monks post. I started laughing in the middle of the lap and probably looked like an ass spitting water all over the place and messing up my stroke.
Monks ridiculous.

For a 15 yr old to have that kind of a sense of humor is definately worth extra bonus points.

First off, is that stuff for sale on Ebay? Because I want to buy it and wear it at a race this next season as sort of an homage to the early 90’s “innocence” in the sport of triathlon.

Was Record10Ti’s ripped crotch/ball freezing experience this year or last? That’s the hardest I laughed over any thread here. I had to read it in stages to avoid giving myself away at work. Someone post a link to that thread.
Sorry for laughing at someone else’s disfiguring experience. But you’ve got to admit it was funny.

I second the Ironman Florida pics from monk with the empfield had gear!
Ladies and Gentlemen; First, I want to thank the Academy for considering my Slowman at IMFL post. It was premeditated, as we had to get a picture of Dan, enlarge it, put it on a board, etc., in advance of our trip. We had more ideas but were bummed-out when we got to IMFL and saw the size of the waves coming, and learned of the drowning death of the triathlete. However, we were able to put our caring and sympathy aside, and continue with our merriment, at least to some extent. Second, I would like to thank my GF for her contributions to the photographs, for standing by me during the hard times, times when people said “Monk–you are a jerk, and you will always be a jerk”. Third, I would like to thank the Slowman, without whose leering grin, none of this would have occurred to me. And Fourth, I would like to thank you, the little people. Without you, we would be, well, you-less. Its an honor just to be nominated.
