I am setting up a NOS P3SL 2005 as a back up bike just in case the UCI commissairs decide to give us a hard time next May at the TT nationals.
The problem is that we could not find the original Wolf TT “aero” fork for that 1" frame and at this time the available fork is a Colnago Street fork as the one pictured.
Has anyone tested in a WT a “road” like fork versus a “bladed” aero fork?
The new 2009 P3 3T fork is not along the lines of the old bladed Wolf TT Aero fork so I was wondering?
Most areo fork tests use a “standard” road fork as a baseline for the testing (just like the wheel guys use a 36 spoke box rim), so there’s lots of data. In general a bladed for is worth ~40sec/40k.

Thanks for your comments,

Felt makes the fork that comes with the Felt B12 for aftermarket. It is quite good in the tunnel. Relatively cheap. You could actually run a bayonet on that bike too if you were crafty and could find one.
These come in 1 inch and are custom made to your size, offset, steertube, etc. Cost me $216 to my door which is pretty good compared to a lot of forks out there.
Maybe you should just tidiy your garage. You’ll be amazed what you find! (maybe even the fork you are looking for)
I cleaned 1/2 my (tiny) bike shed yesterday and found all sorts of good stuff. I even found my chainsaw! I thought my brother had it. LOL
My shed is just 2.4m x 1.8m (about 8’x5’9"). How I could lose a chainsaw in there really blew me away! I have tow benches, with overhead cabinets, 3 bikes, a spare frame and about spare wheels. I even have my unicycle there too!
Trisports has both the Profile Design ACD and Easton EC90 Aero in 700c 1". Not sure if they ship to Mexico… but either seem like a better option than a road fork.
You can find Easton EC90 Aero Forks 1" for cheap lately. I was floored by the savings and overlooked the most obvious… bought the wrong size… anyay do some surfing you’ll find a ec90 for cheap and well worth it… I love that fork.
My wife just came back from the USA with a Profile Design BDC 1" fork. I think it will do its job fine. It is a pretty heavy fork but I doubt it will have an effecto on a 2000 m pursuit race. The fork also came with a 1" star nut and a Cervélo cap. Thanks to R&A for solving the problem. These guys have EVERYTHING in stock ;).
The P3SL will see action next month as a Pursuit bike and after that event it will be set as a back up bike for the P3 just in case the UCI commissairs decide to enforce the 3:1 ratio on the seatposts at the U17 Nationals.
Fork width is less than 10mm (9.5mm), therefore UCI illegal regardless of depth. One member of the pursuit team had Wolf forks, he got dropped on both rides
How did you get this fork $216 to your door? I looked at getting one, but using a money converter it always came out around $300,plus i figured some duty tax plus shipping.
