No End to How Despicable Vick is

Apparently this low life stole an inmate’s pit bulls and sold them on E-Bay in order to get funds to buy missiles from Iran due to his (Vick) needing them, having pedged allegiance to Al Qaeda. Justice will be served, however, when Vick delivers 63 Billion in gold and silver bars to the front gates of the inmate’s federal correctional facilty.

I heard he has stolen candy from babies too. What a terd!

Bernie

wow, I wonder how much my half pit bull mix is worth? Anyone want a dog for say 15 million? I’ll even include 3 model rockets OR a free Aussie Shepard in the deal.

Unfortunately, the Fox report omitted the part about Michael Vick stealing the guys’ dress pants right after he got them back from the dry cleaners. You know that’s a really expensive offense these days.

On the other hand, all three of Vicks co-defendents have may plea bargain agreements with the DA. The current legal consensus is that Vick is screwed with the best case taking a deal before more serious RICO charges are issued.

Over on AOL, sports blog comments are hoping that VIck holds out for a trial on the assumption that either his stardom or an OJ jury gets him off. Good luck with that.

It’s one thing to kill a human or two, but dogs… fucking sicko.

Ther is some good in this. He has no chance of destroying my Fantasy team this year.

Yeah, go with Vince Young. Har Har.

I heard tonight that there’s a good chance Vick will accept a plea for less than one year in the pokey. When I heard that I wonder if Vick is thinking (or is being advised), “You’re going to be suspended for the NFL year anyway. Might as well take the plea, avoid a lengthy trial, serve your time, show regret and remorse (fans are sucky for a tearful ‘I’m sorry’) and then … get back on the field.”

You get that feeling that, somehow, Vick is going to come out this in A LOT better shape than you or I would. Nuthin’ new.

Actually, I saw an article this morning on the Atlanta CBS station’s website that said that Vick’s lawyers are split on whether to deal, or go to trial. http://www.cbs46.com/news/13896367/detail.html

However, I tend to agree with you on what will happen.

Vick is not the only one getting sued by this joker, check these out:

First thought, “Do lawyers make much money when their clients plead guilty?”
.

They do if they get good deals for rich clients. If you were his counsel, and high profile defense attys are usually a little egomaniacal, you would have to believe that you could pull a Johnny Cochran. What’s the risk? Everyone says the Feds have Vick dead to rights. If you got him off in a trial, even on some lesser charge, your career would be set. Have you seen how this case breaks down along race lines?

He could always become a Raider!

Anyone know where I can get a Ron Mexico jersey?

you can’t get 'em per se, but if you order an unnamed jersey from supplier “x” then letters from a seperate supplier you can heat apply them yourself…even NBA suppliers aren’t allowed to print that combination! what an f-in loser Mr. Mexico is.

“unnamed” … i mean unlettered, just numbered

Come on man, Vick would be a great back up for McNabb!

You serve 85% of a federal sentence of this nature, so he’d get 8.5 months on a 1 year sentence. I think he’s trying to cop to a 1 year plea, but I don’t know for sure obviously.

The thing I heard/read also was there is a serious chance his 1 year NFL suspension will NOT be served while he’s in prison. He does his 8.5 months, then his 1 year NFL suspension. So he’ll be 28 or 29 when he first gets back.

When Lewis was with the Ravens and served a couple of months the word (and then reality) was that he couldn’t readily bounce back from his time. It’s crappy food, you can’t work out like you’d need to in order to keep your fitness and explosiveness etc. He stunk when he got back, so there’s a good chance Vick will be a full step or two slower than he is now.

So maybe he’ll end up being 28 and can only last if he becomes a pocket passer? OR, he becomes a WR/RB like it seems he should have been the whole time? Or he just goes and hangs out with his classy brother?

That is awesome.

What would be better? Someone suing HIM! I hope that happens next.

Really…I love the first one, he is suing Barry Bonds, Bud Selig and Hank Aaron’s Bat!!!

HAHA

So maybe he’ll end up being 28 and can only last if he becomes a pocket passer?

No chance. He can throw it over the barn with ease, he can’t hit the barn when he wants to.

There are very few cases of inaccurate college QB’s that become accurate NFL QB’s. Accuracy, to a large degree, seems to be a natural ability, or at least one that takles years and years to develop, not just a season or two.

In a strange way, doing time, may actually enable Vick to be as popular as ever with the black community … based on the appearance that they “got him” but those “Duke boys” got off. I am not black and cannot likely understand the logic behind it, but I don’t understand why black folks seemingly take a stand behind guys that have done bad things and support them “just because, y’know …” We’ve seen it before.

Funny how the NAACP was all over all the bad stuff that should happen to the Duke guys (suspended, scholarship set up for the stripper, etc), but is pleading with everyone to give Vick the benefit of the doubt and be patient as the procedure unfolds. Do they realize why it’s difficult to take them serious?

The person at Fox who is in charge of deciding what gets put on the Fox website should be fired.

Is this for real? And I’m not talking about the crazy inmate lawsuit – I know that’s for real. That’s what those guys do for fun. I’m talking about a “legitimate” news source reporting this nonsense. I know your link wasn’t to The Onion, but does Fox have a spoof site that I didn’t know about?
