No discount for H3?

TriSports won’t give me the Slowtwitch discount for a H3. SO–now where to buy? I hate to buy a used one on ebay because you never know what you will get. I also hate to swall $800 for a new rear wheel :frowning: Any place cheaper?

chris

by agreement they cant use any discounts on certain products. but if you go to your local dealer you might get something.

Looks like RACycles has them for 10% off currently on their website.

RA Cycles is showing a 10% discount across the board for the month. HED apparently included.

Check out tri-zone.com. They usually have some incentives such as free shipping and/or store credit when you buy wheels.

Buy them at an Ironman 150 bucks off
.

I know my trusty LBS would hook me up…then again…they know I wont buy bike stuff on line or beat them up over $5.00

In my defense, RA Cycles IS a LBS!

The fact that you cant get an “internet” discount proves that though they are an LBS for some - they are not an LBS for you  The “L” stands for “local”
.

It’s about $100 from both wheels… IF you have the determination and a little time you can DEFINETELY find a better deals.

  1. A lot of 'online shops" offer price matching BUT not discounts.
  2. Not every bike shop or HED dealer have online business but they do work wih remote customers (think telephone)\
  3. Expos! Not the race season is full speed ahead go one of the race expos and DO NOT buy it until the last minute of the expo and talk to them… They are more pleased to cut a few bucks more than packing it back to truck.
  4. A set of race wheel is something you have to buy on time like December, when the new models are coming i and the business is slow.

Actually, I can and have driven there many times in 30 minutes or less - and I’ve bought something each time I’ve gone. I think that makes them local.

Anyway, back to the topic . . .
