Hawaii has had Bicycle registration (currently $15 one-time fee) since the late 1800’s.
My family and I have more than 10 bicycles, and each display a small 3" x 2" yellow decal with a rego #.
I was at the DMV office just last week getting another bike registered and the clerk informed me that the registeration papers (not just decal) MUST be with the rider whilst riding the bike - yeh right, I am going to keep a small 6"x6" paper with me and it will last a few year etc…
