My 2008 MiNewt is now twitchy in its operation in that if the cable it not in a certain position it won’t stay on. I think at some point I must have bent the cable between other cockpit apparatus too severely, resulting in a wire breaking and not completing the circuit. It appears to be just behind the plug as the pins all seem fine.
Has anyone else ever managed to do this and can the casing be opened to repair the wire? I’d rather not fork out for a complete new light. I can get it to work most of the time but it requires me to get the positioning of the cable just right to keep the wire connected.
