Just a reminder that Nineteen wetsuits will be in Lake Placid next week. I will be at High Peaks Cyclery Thursday - Saturday during race week. We will have wetsuits on sale at special prices and I will also have our Demo fleet there if you want to try on a Nineteen, Tsunami or Frequency and feel the difference of our great fit and the speed that comes with it. Please drop by and you can then take the suit up to Mirror Lake for a spin.
I hope that everyone’s taper is going well and best wishes on race day.
We will have 06 Nineteen Riptide Wetsuits on sale for $240 - that’s a saving of $100 off the MSRP. The low down - You are getting a high performance suit for entry level pricing!!
We will have the new, 07 Nineteen Tsunami on sale for $340 - that’s saving of $30 off the MSRP.
Again I will have a selection of our full current line of Nineteen Pipelines, Tsunami’s and Frequency wetsuits available for demo swims in Mirror lake and I will be available all day, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at High Peaks Cyclery( Just down the road from the Transition Zone/Expo) to answer any questions you have about wetsuits, show you how to put a wetsuit on properly and talk about the swim course and best strategies for the swim and race day.
Steve…where were you last year when I was there??? Any plan to head down to Florida? I guess I could just as easily find you in the GTA seeing as I’m in Markham. Have fun at LP.
I have not been to LP for IMUSA since the first two years of the event when I was working at Sugoi and Sugoi was an event sponsor. Strangly, this will be my third trip down to LP in the last 6 weeks as I have been down supporting two training camps that we sponsor - Nigel Gray’s and Rich Pady’s. I am getting to know that bike course really well
I am not sure if we will have a presence at IMFL this year.
Endurosport is still the best place to check out the Nineteen Line in the GTA. Have you been to the new store in Leaside yet? It’s very nice.
Fleck is the guy to ask for bike pacing and marathon race strategies. In his time he was the master of this at Ironmans. Fleck, correct me if I am wrong, but in your Ironman career you NEVER blew up on the run…and always finished strong by respecting the distance.
Hi Steve,
I’ll be up this weekend to “watch” I’ll be training with trukweaz (Kurt P - my coach) and my husband “jeff spicoli”. I spent a bucketload of $$ on a Orca 3.8 (women’s fit) just before 70.3 Switzerland and it just has never fit right - in fact it fills with water (I got the small) and at Nationals, where I should have swam 26-27, I ended up swimming a 33! I am 5’9, 120, with very long legs…so do you have something that might fit right? I am planning on doing one loop of the swim Saturday morning, so I will stop by.
Thanks,
Kat D.
You truly have not blown up until you run split comes within 30 min of your bike split…
Dev,
I think there was a “Club” in name only, years ago of the guys who had done IMH and their bike and run splits were about the same!! There were actually some pretty good guys in that “Club”.
do you have and sell repair kits ??
if so will you have any at IMLP
I have a few finger tip rips.
I must be looking good to lifeguard the race
no unsightly rips in the rubber suit
