Nike Free 3.0 praise

This is not a question post, just a shout out.
Have been running in NB road minimus (the 4mm drop ones) and the trail minimus. Both fantastic shoes that fixed some old running issues. But after longer road runs, my lower legs just felt tired with a bit of low calf strain.
So tried the Nike Free 3.0. Two runs in, I am super happy. They lost the over-supported arch of the 5.0, have loads of toe room and (most importantly) have cushioning that makes the run feel springy.

And I have no affiliation with Nike

These are my favorite shoe as well.

Sounds like moving away from less to a bit more is more comfy. I like the Lunaracers in particular for the amount of cushion provided at such low weight.
This new study is potentially interesting, the 3.0 was the “partial minimalist” shoe in the study, although I can’t access the full text: http://bjsm.bmj.com/content/early/2013/12/19/bjsports-2012-092061.short

I have the 233, which prefer to the 255 but I like a little more cushion for long runs, currently in Brooks PureFlow, will have to try out those Nike Free 3.0
