Wild series. I thought after Sabres stormed back from a 3-1 deficit to demoralize with an 8-3 win and coming home, Montreal would be rattled. Martin St. Louis is a great coach.
Caroline is so good, but they have been playing X-Box for 11 days! Look out.
I fell asleep just after puck drop to start OT and woke up for winning player interviews. The Bell Centre will get to go wild for at least 2 more games. The Canes should close them out in 5 though. These conference championship series should be sleepers and the excitement of good competition saved for the League finals and the Cup. But, you never know about officiating, puck luck, injuries and hot goalies. The NHL game beats the NBA game hands down.
Amen brother, I havenât watched a minute of the NBA playoffs. Great game last night. I agree the conference championships look one-sided, but weâll see.
Knights, AVS series is going to be interesting, on one hand Vegas only had 95 points and wouldnât have made the playoffs if they were in the east, but on the other hand they won 7 of 10 of their last regular season games and are on a roll, so who knows, I love playoff hockey!

My Caps traded away Nic Dowd to the VGNs at the deadline. His contribution as their 4th line center man, defensive zone face off man and key penalty killer has not gone without notice.

You were right. Colorado had only lost one game in the playoffs, now itâs two!
Carolina hasnât lost yet, so hopefully Montreal will have a game for them tonight.

If Vegas pulls this off it will be the biggest points deficit in the modern era, the AVS had 121 points. Marner looked good again, hoping the rest of the series is this good.
11 days rust didnât go so well for Carolina. Les Habitants got off to a fast start and didnât look back.
It will be interesting to see what kind of adjustments the Hurricanes make for game 2 to slow down the breakouts/breakaways Montreal was able to create

Unfortunately for the Avs not having the top Defenseman in the world is shockingly a problem. Add in Manson trying to break his own neck with the boards and the Avs are suddenly in a rough spot.
