technically it was the NHL āStadium Seriesā not the Winter Classic. I think the Winter Classic refers to the outdoor game played on New Years. Yes the Broons lost their mindā¦.yes they lead the league in minor penaltiesā¦.ugh

I assume that he took the loss hard, received some criticism and punched some guy in the face and that alcohol was probably involved. Not a good look but still better than the stereotypical young Canadian hockey player and sexual assault charges. I guess the query āwho took the first swingā might factor in with the local prosecutor?
Unfounded allegations floating around various hockey websites are that McKenna punched out an older kid who was harassing his mother at a private post game function for friends and family of the team.
The NIL money should buy him a top notch lawyer to plead down.
Considering heās going to be worth a boat load to some team, I would be amazed if he has to pay anything himself.
Heās 18, and by all accounts does not have a reputation as a hot head or trouble maker. I would imagine he ends up with a slap on the wrist for this.
The worst charge has been dropped already.

Back in September I confidently predicted the Bruins would miss the playoffs. They have not clinched a spot just yet, but should do so soon. I was also wrong about how bad the Panthers would be (injuries really hurt them), how frustrating the Oilers would be, how truly doomed the Leafs appear to be, and how great Macklin Celebrini and Matthew Schaefer would be. Iām going to see Islanders vs Habs on Sunday, hopefully will get to see some good hockey.

So many very good, but not over the top great teams. Coupled with not that many true dogs makes for a very interesting season. Caps arenāt dead yet, but nearly there. I have a feeling that we will sign Ovie to one more season so that he can be lauded on his last visit to all the arenas around the league next year. Ugggghhhh! I canāt tell you how tough it is to watch him on the ice anymore, hopefully his wife will have the final say as she wants to move back to mother Russia.
And, I miss our boy @BLeP.

Excited for my Flyers. Pittsburgh is old AF. Our young kids have gelled since the Olympic break, and love Tocchet behind the bench for playoffs.
Would also love a magic run from the Wild. Colorado looks unstoppable.
