NFL Week 2 - How's your team looking?

Skins fan here, not looking so great. Somehow today we’re a 6 point favorite over Jacksonville, which is a really sad thing to write. I’m not a gambler, but I assume the wise guys are trying to pull action towards JAX on this one.

I’m oddly “ok” with how Griffin played in Week 1, much more concerned with Gruden’s play calling (RUN THE D@MN BALL) and our OL play, which was great in the run but atrocious in pass protection.

It’s only been one week so it’s hard to say. Falcons beat the Saints but didn’t show great defense doing it. Having said that, the Saints have a pretty good offense.

Seahawks @ Chargers, I’m liking the Seahawks chances of being 2-0 when the Broncos pay a visit to the Emerald City for second helping of the Seattle defense.

Vikings vs Pats. Vikings looked good against a 3rd string QB and struggling team. At least they didn’t play down to their level as they usually do.
The defense looked impressive and the offense has a few new wrinkles that I was happy to see. Pats were taken by surprise with a solid running
game from Miami, and if Adrian Peterson can get going, it will open up more options for them to keep them off balance. Playing outside at the
Gophers stadium this year and the weather should be perfect. Predict 24-21 Pats.

They might just convert RG3 into a serviceable game manager after all. Money and draft picks well spent…

Typical Vikings fan. One win over a terrible team and all of last years problems were resolved. I bet most people couldn’t name both Rams QB’s that played last week. Brady will expose that average defense quickly.

If we can keep playing the Giants I finally have a chance to see the Lions in the SuperBowl.

Don’t forget, we get to play the Bears twice too!

I expect to split with da bears…But the Pack looks like they will easily win the division again if Rogers stays healthy. Maybe the Lions sneak in as a wildcard?

Bills/Dolphins

Buffalo is at home and if they can play the way they did last week (which shocked the hell out of me) they have a good shot. Would be nice to win the first divisional game this year, especially since the Fins beat New England last week.

NY Giants fan here. Not much more needs to be said. :O(

What are you talking about? I predicted a Vikings loss even if they got things going with Peterson…

bears vs 49ers

I too was shocked the bills beat us at home. Defense is still fucked.
Kap wont even have to throw the thing, he can just skip to the end zone while our defense looks like it would rather play hungry hungry hippos

Bills. So far the number in their W column is larger than the L column. That’s good.
But their offensive & ball control stats are less impressive - even though they won they had control of the ball less then the Bears, less yards gained, less 1st downs… they were the lesser team despite the win.
The Bills defense is looking good. Despite losing Jarious Byrd they still have plenty of talent on D.

Week 2 match-up against the Miami Fish is a 50-50 proposition. Whoever wins takes leadership of the AFC East (I’m confident in assuming the jets are gonna lose @ Lambaeu field).

The Bills won’t win the AFC East - the badly depleted Patsies still have Belichik & Brady so they’ll find a way to somehow win the division, but I’ve got my fingers crossed that EJ Manuel is good enough to fight for the Wildcard spot.

Love you guys.

I was somewhat disappointed by the Packer’s game against the Seahawks. However, it’s clear to me that the Seahawks are the team to beat. If key Packers can stay healthy, it will be a good year, maybe even great.

Another WTF weekend in the NFL.

Skins win big, without RG (won’t make it to week) III. Saints Lose to the Browns. Bills crush the Fish.

Right now, the Packers are getting beat by the Jets and the Seahawks are down to the Chargers.

Don’t worry we’ll find a way to win! Maybe not this year though…

Richard Sherman, “I need the ball.”

Chargers: “We got your back.”

Old man Gates just did a little hip juke and got open by 5 yards for one of his TDs.

Thomas, Chancellor and Sherman were all limping at times, and looked like they took more hits than they were dishing out. I don’t think Denver is intimidated.

Was Cliff Avril even suited up?
