Next Time you think it is too cold to ride outside:

Look at this gallery of juniors crushing it at the Boulder Res on Saturday:
http://shotwilliam.smugmug.com/Cycling/2014-Cyclo-X-Boulder-Reservoir/

It got all the way up to 18 degrees and snowed most of the day. There was turn that featured a slide-out zone into the res itself and the small waved created a ice sheet at the bottom. Cross is the best. Also, scroll down a bit further for a montage of how not to enter a sandy section.
Note: I have no affiliation with the photographer, just thought these were worth sharing…

Some badass kids. And those pics at the bottom of the page are gold.

I have no idea how that makes it better to ride in miserably cold temperatures.

Correct. You have no idea of what you are missing out on.

kids feel no pain…

either way thats impressive.

never having ridden in 18F temps before I have no idea what it feels like, but we have ridden in Australia at 45C or 113F, and that’s no picnic either.

good on them for still getting out there, and what great pics.

Those aren’t triathletes. Crossers race in what ever the condition is provided and they run what they brung.
