Garmin just announced its next gen radar, and it has some appealing updates that I like. It is insanely expensive at $300. But it will be a hard buy, because it will eliminate one of my last Micro USB devices I have to charge.
I’ve been told I have unlimited budget for bike-related safety devices, and I wonder if this uses the older style Varia mount? It doesn’t look as bulky as the version with the integrated camera.

Their camera radar is a separate product. It does not look like it has an update yet this cycle.
I tried that a couple years ago and ditched it. It was super heavy and did not have enough battery life for a long ride.

It states “new seatpost mount,” but it is still just a Garmin quarter turn so if you have one that works now I will wager it will work just fine with the new unit.
