Besides, I think Renn is the only one listed that hasn’t actually paid for advertising on Slowtwitch…the rest (except Second Hand Racing) have all PAID for Slowtwitch advertising, haven’t they?
Here’s the difference with Renn- I was the Renn cheerleader (as one put it). Frank does not really go into here and tout his product on this forum, but I have and will remain doing it.
As if anyone needed to know why I was the main (unpaid) endorser, here it is:
I was looking for a new disc wheel, and did not have tons of money. I saw the review AND advertisement in the 2001 bike gear guide in Triathlete Magazine. I had asked around, and decided to risk it. I had written several e mails to Dan E. during that time, in which he published my very short review on the Forum. I had also sung Frank’s praises when asked, then others started to listen to me about his fine, fine wheel. Frank’s excellent business practises, along with wonderful customer service and great, great product has made this wheel a self-seller.
The biggest whore on this board is ME, as I merely talk about my products and get several e mails. By the way- a limited amount of these brackets will be ready shortly. I will e mail those of you who have e mailed first about the brackets. I will have between ten and twenty available before I leave.
