Newbie Road Race Question

Hey all,

I normally race mountain bikes but am trying my first road race this Saturday. What are the rules for wearing jerseys in a road race? I thought I remember reading somewhere that you could be disqualified for wearing the “wrong” jersey in a road race…wearing a U.S. Postal jersey when you aren’t sponsored by them. I am sponsored for mountain biking, can I go ahead and wear my sponsor’s jersey for the road race too?
