New York Trip

I am going up to NY next weekend for a short Friday night to Sunday afternoon trip and I am looking for suggestions as to how to spend our time. I am going up to meet my GF who happens to be up there for 3 weeks for work. I have been to NYC several times, never for more than 72 hours at a time. I am staying in SOHO, and looking to get in a couple memorable meals, and maybe see a show. I am also going to try and get in a few runs in the park. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

In the SOHO neighborhood, the French Culinary Institute has a restaurant for the students to hone their skills. I took my hubby there for his birthday and it was great. More info here: http://www.frenchculinary.com/lecole_menus.htm Also downtown, but in the Tribeca neighborhood is the Odeon, which was one of my favorite restaurants when I lived there. Running in the park is fun, but if the weather is at all nice you might also run/walk across the Brooklyn Bridge. My favorite thing to do in NYC is wander around the various neighborhoods and people watch, especially downtown.

It’s been a few years since I’ve lived there, but I still miss the Big Apple. Have fun!
