I know that many of you are planning to do the NYC Tri. I live 1/2 mile from the start of the race. Are any of you interested in an informal FREE swimming clinic on Saturday before the race from 3:00 - 4:30 P.M? I have access to Columbia Prep School’s pool at 5 W. 93rd St. between Columbus Ave. and Central Park West.
It would be nice to meet the poeple who I correspond with.

I’ll have to say no but ask–is there a pool I can use that morning to swim? Friends of mine are actually swimming around Manhattan Saturday, and before I go watch them, i’d like to do a few laps before the NYCTri.

You are staying three blocks from my pool. There is a big pool at 137th St. and the Hudson River (Riverbank State Park).

eganski, if it doesn’t work out with Doug, I can get you in my ymca on 63rd street close to central park. It’s 25 yards though and opens at 8am. You can do your entire pre race brick in there. Also, one of my friends is doing the manhattan island swim.
