Great idea I could see myself really liking one of these, but the proprietary sensors make it a non-starter.

At this point, I think I’m swearing off all Wahoo Devices.
For the second time, my Elemnt has automatically re-uploaded redundant files to my training peaks (This time every workout going back to July 2016). The first instance was attributed to a Wahoo server outage,meaning it couldn’t check if files had been previously uploaded.
I’ve constantly had issues and most of them are software related. The app drains my phone’s battery, even when not connected to the Elemnt. It needs to be manually forced to close. I’ve changed belt tension and other fixes to get Kickrs somewhat accurate.
Wahoo dreams up great devices, no doubt, but the usability is lacking.
