Because of the massive turn out that is expected on Nov 2nd, election officials have decided to extend the voting through Nov 3rd. The fear is that voters will be “disenfranchised” because of long lines, voting machine error or break down. The broadcast called for split voting that the proper monitors could be in place to prevent fraud. After a good deal of debate between both Republicans and Democrats, they have decided that all Republicans should vote on Nov 2nd and Democrats should all vote on Nov 3rd. This should obviously reduce the long lines, with the exception of the areas that are heavily in favor of one side or another, and also allow for closer monitoring of voting from both sides to prevent fraud.
