I used to be turned off by the minivan too. Till i saw the pics below. Plus it has a 3.5L V6 for you.

Multiple bikes in the back
You can sleep in it at a race
Reasonable economy (all wheel drive hurts this–we average just over 20 mpg with mostly city driving)
It even looks good. If you are intrigued by the ugly Ford then you should at least consider looking at a Sienna (may be over budget)
