Have my new race wheels…got the tubulars glued on with some help from my shop…and a few weeks later it sounds like some small droplets of glue (or carbon?) are rattling around in the rim when i spin them…I haven’t ridden them since I noticed it, but was wondering if this was normal for tubulars to have little rattles in the rims or should I take the tires off, get the little pellets out and reglue them?
Looking for some good advice since this is the place that helped to convince me to get new wheels!
Does it bother you $40 (or whatever your LBS charges to glue a tire) worth? If you don’t have a spare with glue on it, you can rationalize it as ‘creating a spare’. Personally I’d wait until you need to change the tire unless it’s really annoying you.

I talked with another friend who said he had the same issue…I know it’s something inside the rim b/c when I spin it I can hear the little pellet rolling around the inside…
…I was hoping Tom D. would chime in b/c it’s his fault I bought them.
