I just spotted this on Matt Fitzgerald’s blog: “Sometime next week my newest blog will be launched. This one will appear on Triathlete Magazine’s new interim website (a permanent new website will follow in a few months).” Looking forward to it - it’s certainly taken some time.
Brad,
New site looks great. Congratulations on getting that up and running.
I really like the Competitor TV bits with Babbitt. The Chrissie Wellington interview is must-watch stuff.
Keep up the great work!
Thanks Fleck!
There will be much, much more of that kind of stuff to come. And remember, this is just an interim site. I’m glad to be done with the old Triathletemag.com platform…not very user/poster friendly.

Very nice, Brad - congrats. I’m excited to start making my daily stop at the website again! If I can make a suggestion for your consideration: how about a subsection on exercise science/physiology for those articles that focus on such subjects, like Matt’s lactate article in the current issue. I can’t get enough of that type of info and I’m sure there are others that feel the same.

Looks useful and well laid out…but what’s with all the missing spaces in the bodies of the articles?

Looks nice, but I’m confused. Are they combining Triathlete Mag and Inside Tri?
I always thought that they were very different pubs, and always prefered Inside Tri. I know that IT is going to a glossy bi-monthly this year, but I hope they don’t become too much like Triathlete Mag and lose all the reasons why I liked Inside Tri in the first place. I knew that they were both owed by Comopetitor, but that doesn’t mean they have to make them the same pub, unless two seperate pubs just isn’t financially viable for them anymore.
It’s still in the final stages of being built, populated and spit-polished; the site is not meant for true public consumption yet, Brad just posted it so y’all could get an early look at it.

Looks awesome, much improved format from the old site. Look forward to it when the design is finalized.
