Is there any way to order up a wheel in the future and not have the decals? I understand your batch now has them, but in the future? I don’t like decals on my stuff…bikes, wheels or otherwise…thanks.
I’m sold, almost. I’m in the market for wheels and this looks like a great option. Do you have details to back up the “unbelievable aerodynamics and wind deflection” statement?
Thanks for the note…too early to tell. 650c are not a big seller, so I doubt that option. As for selling single wheels…probably will do so when I get in a much larger shipment…only time will tell.
It’s a nice idea for sure…I’m working with my disc manufacturer to see about the availability. I do happen to have a couple of VERY slightly used discs if you’re interested…clinchers and/or tubular.
Why would you make them heavier than what you want to compete with?
I would imagine it is so that they can manufacture them for less and sell them for less. If I’m trying to compete with an established company, and I can make something that is almost as good as the original for way less, I might stand a chance. If I spend tons of money to match the original and then can’t beat the price, I’m screwed.
If they weren’t tubies, I would be all over these, but I just flat too damn much to consider it. And I would still be slow, with or without them.
Like it or not (I lean towards the “not”), ebay is the cheapest worldwide marketing ever. I’m glad you pointed out that I’ve given a nice discount to Slowtwitchers.
