New Swiss Side Cockpit?

I’m not too impressed, price point is fair but just one grip angle available and i’m not sure if that is a very comforable one. It looks similar to the one that comes default on the vadex bike from sync erg and they deliver a strange wrist angle.

The Cadex one didn’t work for me. Basically didn’t support my forearms at all due to the angle. The Fast TT option was way better.

Am I the only one whose wrists extend either straight if not actually bent slightly outwards from the forearm direction? The inwards offset of the handholds compared to the forearm would make these not fit me very well.

Is it just me?

i actually don’t agree with you. if you look at profile asc, they extensions are offset to adjust for arm support. A straight full arm design such as these, wattships anemoi mini, my new aero 22.2 extensions(unreleased) are all useless to most riders unless you ride super narrow. To successfully achieve full arm support, the stock hardware doesn’t work. Profile made their complete system so it works. I designed hardware that allows 22.2 to have width adjustment and angling to match the cups. The Swiss Side will work well for those whose arms cups are directly above the extensions or slightly offset based on your current hardware. Also, hand grip angle is my differentiation. I don’t believe every rider fits comfortable on whats on the market thus why all my designs have adjustable hand grip positions. Just my 2 cents.

Makes sense.
Never tried those solutions, I use the Tririg full cups.

That is a great insight. I was just wondering how this would work in setups where the aerobars are attached more wide or narrow than where you want the cups. If it doesn’t match your desired elbow width, it will not work.

Does not look good when adjust like that

Yes agreed. My thinking is if Swiss Side are only managing 6w at 45km/h, then the read across to the alternatives like fast tt, tririg etc. won’t be much different so it would come down to adjustability, cost etc. which this seems to score well/better

These are still so convoluted and messy. Bits and pieces and protrusions and junk all over the place.
