I’ve heard a similar rumour. It should be interesting to see how it develops.
Where did you hear this? It seems strange seeing as how they haven’t announced that they have a new sponsor for next year. Otherwise, no way did they sign Vino in the middle of his doping scandal, they took enough heat from the Basso thing. Rasmussen wouldn’t be out of the question, but he isn’t really their style of rider.
Dave Z? Not sure I would call him high profile, but I sure don’t see CSC resigning him.
My sources told me a new title sponsor would be announced during le Tour. However, with all the shit going on that may have been shelved.
I only hear about one new signing but I am sure there will be more, why drop a winning formula?

I agree that they shouldn’t drop a winning formula . . . until there’s a new blood test for it. 
They sure didn’t have any problem signing 3 guys involved in Operacion Puerto…one is leading the Tour actually.
As for their ‘style’ of rider…well, it’s a rider that can win the Tour with the right stuff. Looks like chicken is one of them.
I’d bet a good deal that it’ll be Soler. that kind of talent isn’t going to stay on wild-card barloworld for long.

AC’s “involvment” in Operation Puerto consisted of his name being listed among riders training together and some race results. He was quickly and officially removed from the Puerto list by the UCI about a week after it came out.
You mean like Zidane’s name being removed because he obviously didn’t dope? Funny…a french singer was asked why he was still in such a good shape…and he said (that was 2 yrs ago) that his good friend Zidane told him he should do like him, go to switzerland, where there was a clinic he could have his blood drawn at, re-oxygenated, then reinjected later…
but his name was removed so he is certainly clean.
Also, 150 names were removed…all those of high profile athletes from sports with a lot of money…

I read yesterday on cyclingnews that Soler resigned with Barloworld.
Is Hamilton off suspension yet?
I believe in Contador’s case Fuentes himself stated he never worked with Alberto, thus the removal of his name. I do not think this was the case with any other athlete.
