Has anybody tried the new CS series Polar HR monitor/bike computer? I have always liked the HR monitors but hated the bike computer functions (poor display combinations, hard to toggle between features, etc.). I was hoping that this new cycling specific version would be better, so I wouldn’t have to use a separate bike computer.

I posted a similar question about a week ago. The thread died. I think they have not been delivered. As soon as I can get my hands on one, I will let you know. I like their HRM’s also, but want a dedicated cycling comp. It will be a big plus that it is compatible with the HRM.
I’ve noticed that Performance Bike keeps rolling back their availablity date. I checked roadbikereviews.com a few days ago and no one has posted a review there. Based on this very limited data, I assume they have not shipped yet.
I’m waiting for some reviews and if they are favorable, I’m going to get one.
my lbs teased me with info about it back in march? he told me called polar about a week ago and they said they haven’t shipped any yet. buncha punks.
I’ve called around to a few places and nobody has them. They all say that Polar has not shipped them yet (the prediction I was told was another month or so).
