Hi all, have just swapped from Profile Carbon Strykes to Cobra T2’s (wanted to try something different) The main difference is that the aerobars mount on the top of the base bar as opposed to underneath and this has me sitting more upright. As I would like to have a position similar to what I had with the Carbon Strykes, would the best option be to remove some spacers to lower the position? If so, how do you remove the spacers (I do not live close to a decent bike shop)
Thanks, Andrew
Space…just been through this exercise myself, check the thread i posted below:

Near the bottom of the thread theres a link to another post with pics (the “how to get as low as bjorn” thread).
Hope this helps!
im currently selling my sonic stryke to think to moving to T2 what you think about it? it costs less but more comfotable i think…didnt feel good with the sonic stryke very hard to adjust…
i moved from Syntace C2 (not Carbon Stryke) to PD T2 for two reasons…1) to get lower, and 2) to have more choices of hand position - most of the time i have my hands draped over, palms down, in a relaxed grip with either index or middle finger knuckle on the bar end (this is very comfy for me), and the s-bend itself is a nice place to grip firmly when choked up climbing or grinding hard in a big gear for short periods…i’ve found them very adjustable on my drop bar/STI setup
