Great looking bike! Too bad about the bad position, do you have a medical condition that forces you to ride like that?
I have long legs and a relatively short torso, so I need a short top tube; a larger (stock) frame would have too long a reach for me, so I needed a “smaller” frame (it’s a 58). Since the P2K doesn’t have a very long head tube, I needed to raise the bars a bunch; I may lower it later. There is a drop from the saddle to the armrests, believe me. Also, my back is very flat in this position. I may post a picture of me on the bike.

What position is that? There is a couple of inches of drop from the saddle to the armrests, and my back is quite flat.

I made the cover using white Monokote, and painted the blue. Wife won’t let me do the other side indoors, so I have to wait for warmer weather.

It is true…what exactly do you know that I don’t? I missed the direct reference…was it the the way this person set up his bike? If that person had asked why the bike was set up in such a way rather than insinuating he had a medical condition (yes I knew they were joking) they would have found out that he has slightly different proportions that warranted the set up.
And really…the guy posts a pic of his bike to show it off. Do you read Playboy and pick apart the way the models are positioned in the picture? If he had asked for someone to comment on the way it was set up he’d have done so…and hey…then as a smartasscoach you could have charged him for the service. But shit man, cut the guy some slack. Say something nice about the bike and leave it at that.

And as a pgotgrapher…how did you like the pics of Kens bike? Keeping in mind he is not a real photographer. You probably noticed the picture for what it was worth and not so much the position huh? I for one appreciate that you did not pick apart his photos…it’s just a nice bike to look at…which is why he posted it.
BMW fan? Ack, no. This was the simplest blue/white pattern I could think of that I could actually implement with my minimal skills.
