Evening everyone. I am training for my first half ironman in Tempe Az in October.
Anyone else in the Phoenix are have some great recommendations on places to ride ?

Hey welcome to Phoenix, there are quite a few places to get in some good riding here just depends on what part of the valley you live in?
I’m in Goodyear and there is a couple of great groups to ride with. If you can, check out the Lifetime and West Valley Cycle groups. Right now on Saturday at 06:00, we start promptly at Lifetime near Bullard and McDowell just North of I10. The route is between 40 and 60 miles with an additional 15-20 earlier miles starting at 05:00.
Welcome to the Valley. It depends on where you live. Lmk and I can give you options and groups. TriScottsdale has lots of workouts you can check out.
I’m also in goodyear, in Estrella. Not hilly out here but I can go 60mi with A few stoplights/signs.
Head up to Carefree and ride down to Bartlett Lake (and back up obvs).
I guess I should have mentioned that in my post. I am in Mesa and ride, las sendes, bush highway and bee line to fountain hills to N Scottsdale looping back to fountain hills
You can go thru FH to McDowell Mtn park. Thru rio Verde. Up 9mi hill. Back thru scts.
South mountain has “Silent Sunday” once a month. Closed to veichle traffic.
Cave creek Carefree area lots of rides out towards Bartlett Lake sand 7 Springs
