Ok now that #7 is over what do you see comng from trek as far as special editions. A TT bike? Throw out your best guess.
Unfortunately… I see a bright yellow $350 “City Bike” – i.e. a hardtail mountainbike with skinny slicks – to sell to the masses. I also see a $150 “Lance Jr.” kids bike.
Then there will be the “Lance 7” - a 27 speed that weighs about 30 pounds that will sell for around $600 for the “Recreational Racer”
Nike will be coming out with a bright yellow watch.
By the way – Be happy about all these marketing gimicks – If Trek can make lots of money selling the city bikes – they will drop the amount of thier margin on the higher end making stuff more affordable to those of us who spend on the higher end of the market.
