New kickr trainer

Ok just got a new trainer what do I need to get as far as apps to get started. Also I have a quarqs pm can I still use that. Does it work with iPhone 6 and new Apple ipads

Wahoo has their own basic app to monitor/control the Kickr. Thats all you need unless you want to get something like Trainer Road, Sufferfest, Tour de Giro, etc

using ant or bluetooth? Kiomap , Trainerroad. gotta sync up all your items Kickr, hr, cadence

How do I get the speed, cad, and distance to show up. Also do I need the ant thing that goes inside phone

phone is bluetooth unless older model, then need the ant adapter. Use the Wahoo utility for smart phone/bluetooth to pair. if not bluetooth then pair as normal with any ANT watch/device.

Ok cool I have new iPhone and iPads. Now what about the speed and distance and cad do I need to buy something for that to show up on phone. I’m sure all of this has been asked before but I couldn’t find my answers on earlier forums

bluetooth phone and wahoo Kicker just use the utility to pair. will need RPM (transmits BLE and ANT+) or speed cadence sensor that transmit bluetooth to get cadence.

I just got one too. I thought it was really easy to set up. Including opening the box and everything it probably took me 20 minutes. The only thing that stumped me was how to adjust the knob to change the height but when there was absolutely no mention of it in the set up I just figured … okay it must just turn like a knob and it did.

I paired the wahoo software and used that for my first ride and I also am trying trainer road. So far it’s pretty good.

I am looking to find out if anyone has actually used their Strava Stages app. The review in the app store is about as bad as it gets but if it worked to ride courses that would be pretty fun.

I’m still not sure of how to get speed and distance to show up. Also I downloaded trainer road and it ask me for my user name and password that I never had and it will not let me go any farther
