New John Cobb "MAXX" saddle due later this month

Any word on it?

There were a couple of things that I didn’t quite like about it so it will now be out in late May. I want it to be very fast, very comfy.

Mind releasing any info, like weight and price?

bump
.

Please stop John Cobb. You keep releasing a new saddle every 6 months that is more comfortable and better than the last one. Please create 1, and let it be the end all be all. Please.

Close, very close.

Close, very close.

Hi John… below some pics of Sergio Jr. using the V-Flow Plus (I guess it takes a skilled eye to confirm that  ).

Can I take it away from him when the new saddle comes out? I want to give it a try on my MTB.

Best wishes and thanks for all again,

http://johncobbresearch.files.wordpress.com/2009/05/may-9-max-seat.jpgFound this on John’s website cobbcycling. Anyone else have any photos or info? I have am using the v-flow plus and I am interested in seeing that the MAX has to offer. Can’t tell if there is a nose or not.

Cool user name.

Tacit Gambit.

it looks like it has a it you look at the very top of the pic you see the stitching and stuff beyond that
.

So what’s the deal…is this new saddle going to fly this season, or is it dead in the water.?

I have heard the release date is now in July.

From the pic above, doesn’t look much different than the Adamo?

I asked them about this saddle and they said that it planned to be release early July. It has a more pronounced curve on the top and should weigh 25g less than the Vflow+.

Bump Bump…

From John’s Blog we have some new imagery of the V-Flow Max?

Also a pretty good blog entry as well!

Hmmm…doesn’t look any different than the old Blackwell Mo’ Flow saddle (which I love by the way), although maybe the width or padding density has been slightly changed.

Now if we can just get details on it and a realease date.

I WANT ONE!

I’ve got 2 friends that went from Adomo to V-Flo and got fitted by john while he was here for Gulf Coast Tri. They love it. Most comfortable seat ever. What could be next. I guess I’m going to have to wait till new release to get mine.

Why do they find it more comfortable? Padding/gel? Position? Something different with the cut-out?

I have an Adamo and like it, but long rides do tend to get a little sensitive on the sits bones.

The Vflow padding is quite a bit softer than the Adamo-Race…a little narrower also in the “split” area.

I find it much more comfortable.
