Now I have nothing to say.
No no…you’re supposed to copy and paste a loony-tunes article for the body of the message, then follow it up with a completely bonkers statement or two, preferably about guns and/or bikes and/or Republicans.
Nicely done on the thread title, but the rest needs work.
F*&*^ing Relosercans and their kitchen cabinets!
Between cabinets, install, counter, and appliances, I spent close to $14,000 at my local Home Depot. The project has been riddled with delays due to lack of communication on behalf of the store, the install company and their contractors. I purchased my cabinets at the beginning of October 2014. They were delivered approximately 4 weeks later. No one told me they were coming. I received a call from the freight company the night before to schedule the delivery. You would think HD would contact you to let you know the cabinets were shipping from the manufacturer. That would make sense because you could plan to receive them and to schedule your install!
Anyway, I received the cabinets on a Thursday morning and immediately called the install company for an appointment, since they refuse to schedule before you have the product. The install company ignored my calls for 3 days!!! When they finally contacted me back, I was given an install date 3 weeks out! I was pretty mad, to say the least. The cabinets were in my detached garage and I live in the NE and a huge storm was coming. I contacted HD and luckily they sent over 2 store associates that moved the cabinets into my home. Had they not moved the cabinets inside my house, they surely would have been damaged due to cold and moisture. After the storm hit, I had to contact the install company to confirm the appointment. As I suspected, and which is what prompted my call, they had to push the date out one day.
A week later, the install day finally arrived. Due to my work schedule, I told them I was only available until 2pm. The contractor showed up at 9am and ended work at 2pm. He was not done with the install - he had completed about 1/2 the cabinet install. I told him I could get a family member to come over so he could finish, but he said he was booked for another job after already. I asked if he’d be back the next day and he said he wasn’t scheduled to come back at all! Mind you, I had my appliance delivery and my counter install measure scheduled based on this cabinet install. I was furious at this point. To make matters worse, the store didn’t order a trim part, so the crown molding couldn’t be completed that day anyway.
I called the store and complained to whomever would listen. The manager said she’d get back to me, but she did not. Instead, the install company called me the next morning and told me the contractor would be back that Friday. I specifically asked on the phone, “TO FINISH THE JOB?” and they replied yes. Now, I knew they couldn’t finish the crown molding, but I expected all cabinets installed, all kick molding and toe kick installed as well as handles. The contractor showed up Friday and stayed approximately 1.5 hours. He didn’t finish the job at all. He put up the rest of the cabinets and then left. No molding, no handles, nothing! Again, I called HD in frustration! Again, they were of ZERO help. It’s like once you order cabinets from them, they don’t want to hear from you ever again! It’s horrible customer service!
At this point, I’m still waiting for the trim piece. I was told it wasn’t even ordered until a week after the first install date… Again, lack of communication between install company and HD. My kitchen remains unfinished. I’m told the install company won’t schedule an appointment until I have that part. I think that’s totally unfair, since they’re running 3 weeks behind on their appointments. The cabinets are beautiful and seem to be crafted very well. I didn’t have any problem with the designer, except that he forgot to order the trim piece. The contractor has actually done a nice job installing the cabinets. At this time, I haven’t had any issues with the counter top people. They’ve been extremely nice, rescheduling the appointment twice due to HD delays. Unfortunately, the counter top I ordered is on back order until Mid-January. Which is surprising to me, since I paid for it in October…
The experience as a whole has been extremely disappointing and I would never, ever recommend anyone purchase their kitchen through Home Depot. I truly wish I had gone with the local big kitchen cabinet company. They were a little more expensive, but my mom used them last year and she had a great experience from start to finish. You’d think when someone spends $14,000 in your store, they’d get better customer service… some kind of communication. I’ve gotten NOTHING from HD. I really wish I would have saw this site BEFORE I started my project with HD because it seems like there’s nothing but bad reviews for their services!
are you sure it was a guy?

are you sure it was a guy?

I recognize the one on the left… should I know the one on the right? Some overdone New Jersey housewife?
HD sucks. Had an ordeal with some carpet and tile a few years ago. People kept dodging my calls, passing the buck, etc. I was getting pretty annoyed but am fairly patient. My wife, however, is not as patient or forgiving. She went in and had a conversation with the flooring manager by herself and needed to go back two days later. We both walk in to the next appointment and the sales associate immediately gets on his walkie and tells the manager “the guy is back about the carpet and he brought his wife again.” Less than 30 seconds later the dept manager appears and is kissing major butt. I wouldn’t go back to them but I did thoroughly enjoy seeing somebody scared by my wife.
Moral of the story, avoid HD.
It’s Snookie from Jersey Shore.
You get many karma points for not knowing who she is.
Did you actually read all that shit?
You know, that was part of the joke…unless you were just piling on and I didn’t catch it. ;<P

If nj/ny wasn’t so full of Log Cabin Republican cyclist haters you could have driven a Prius.
The delay and the time it took the dude to put makeup on just shows how a white life is worth more than a black life.
forgot to add EOM to the end of your subject line
