New Garmin foot pod + awesome customer service

I was having trouble with my Garmin foot pod so I e-mailed Garmin. They replied to my e-mail (shocking these days) and even sent me a couple more replies over the holiday weekend trying to diagnose the problem.

Yesterday I had a package on my door; they sent a new foot pod, and the new Garmin foot pods are even smaller yet and fit in the Nike+ opening in your shoe if you have Nike shoes, or they can go on the shoe laces. Garmin didn’t even make me send the broken foot pod back, they just sent a new and improved foot pod at no additional cost. So now I am an official Garmin fan boy.

That’s great to hear. Always appreciate a company willing to stand by their product. Plan on picking up a 310xt when my REI dividend comes out in Feb!

wow your real lucky because I have the original foot pod and it is huge therefore I never use it, I would def use a smaller one

I have the new, smaller one and my 310xt kept losing it’s connection with it when I put it in the nike+ holder, so I moved it onto the laces and it works fine…kind of a bummer but as you said, it’s so small I barely notice it
