Garmin’s going to lose the battle for those who want a big-ass color touch screen while they’re cycling (which isn’t me - I’m an Edge 500 guy. Even the 510 is too big)
Especially if they keep insisting on making horrible user interfaces. I keep my 500 only because it works and the user interface isnt as bad as the newer ones.
Seriously someone needs to slap the software guys at Garmin around a bit as punishment for those interfaces.
My issue with using my phone as a cycling computer right now is simply battery life. My phone would drain to nothing if I used it with GPS on over the course of a 5 hour ride.
And it’s not even consistent between the Edge and ForeRunner…
