New from the lab rats at Bici Pidasso

…the new totally integrated bike!!! We were not satisfied with just integrating the headset or bottom braket, so we integrated the ENTIRE BICYCLE!!!

We have integrated not only the headset, but the fork, stem and handlebar are integrated as well. We have also integrated the bottom bracket, crank, and carbon chainring. We have developed a proprietary bonded front mechanism, as well as bonded the Shimano 9 speed rear mech, as we do not have the ten speed available. The STI units are bonded using a special aircraft adhesive.

Here’s Stuarto Pidasso to tell you more: " Please call me ‘Big Stu’. Anyway, with thees integrated thingy going on, we thought it would be fun to eliminate bolts and assmblies, to where any eediot could work on thees bike.

" We use a special, teflon impreganented nylon washer for the head and bottom bracket bearings. Zee fork, stem and handlebar ees made of carbon fibre-wrapped aluminium and lots of zee aircraft adhesive, along with some JB Weld.

" With ze front shifting mechanism, it started life as a Shimano Dura Ace from 1988. We had these stock-piled from when a production run went bad and we sold no bikes that year. Eediot slave labour!!! We remachined the clamp, and made it glue into special bonding spot on frame. Zen we glued zee motha on. We thought it would be fun to glue the Shimano Dura Ace rear changer on, in additionally. Our rear mech hanger is so strong it need never replacement.

" Ze special thing is the bottom bracket, crank and spider combine. All we needed was a hole in zee frame and then we glued zee left crank and bottom bracket axle to ze monocoque right crank, spider/chainring, made of guaranteed aircraft carbone fibres over wrapped aluminium. Zee same washer arrangement was used as bearings.

" GT Pan Am games project '96 bike had plastic washers for bearings, so can we. We are techno advanced!!!

" We come up with integrated tyres on zee rims, next!!! Buy my bike!!!"

Bici Pidasso: integration without question, Innovation wihtout thought, answers to questions never asked.
