As you know, you can go to our race calendar and “tag” a race, and if you do this, the race will append to your forum user profile. You can “build” your calendar in this way, and your STer posse can see, then, what races you’ll be doing (and you can see what races they’ll be doing).
This has always been limited to MULTISPORT races that take place in North America. But many of you will do footraces, or races outside North America, or “training races” that do not make it onto the calendar. So we’ve built a way for you to easily add a “custom” race.
If you go to my user profile, you’ll see a race called the Mt. Rose Hill Climb. It’s a bicycle TT up a hill, and it’s on my race schedule, but I added it externally, using this feature just described. If you look on the bottom of your own “personal race calendar” that’s on your user profile, you’ll see: (Add a Personal Race). That’s how you add a “custom” race to your calendar.
Just please don’t add all your races this way. If you click on “tag this race” on the ST race calendar listing, then it not only appends the race to your personal race calendar automatically, you’re named on the ST calendar listing along with the rest of the group of STers who’re intending to do the race. Plus, it’s much quicker to add or delete the race to your personal race calendar if you just tag the race.
