New Cervelo paint. Waddaya think?

I like the look of the new P3. Maybe the P5 will grow on me.

I’m kind of in the same boat, the red sure is bright from what I’ve seen on the internet. At least it’s too far out of the price range at this point that I’m not losing any sleep over it anytime soon.

Why would you want the BB and chainstay’s white?

The P5…. just awful.

The P3… I’m really sick of black on black. It’s not cool.

And did you see the R5? My God. What were they thinking?

Not only is the horizontal scheme poorly done, but the Red is gaudy.

I could go on and on…

I own two Cervelos, but my next bike cannot be a Cervelo.

I rarely like the stock Cervelo paint schemes and these are no exception.

Hidieous! All of them
I would have to respray the bike if I bought one

The red P5 looks like…well I don’t know what it looks like other than possibly the ugliest bike I have ever seen.

The P3 and P5 look a lot better in person. Although the white underside is pretty freaking stupid. But at least it isn’t matte any more. The P5, though still ridiculous with the red, isn’t nearly as bad as it looks online but the matte red is a weird shade. For the P3, even though the black on black is kind of played out, it doesn’t look all that bad if you ignore the white. Personally, I’m a fan of brightly colored bikes. I still have my first s****y bike (Trek 1000)hanging in my apartment because its bright yellow and I can’t talk myself into getting rid of it and it looks awesome. Should go for neon in 2016…

Is there no more P5-Three? It’s not showing up on the website for me.

P5-3 was discontinued
.

While none of them are great, the p3 isn’t terrible. The black on black scheme has been overplayed, but its serviceable.

P3 is ok, but I liked the previous one better.

P5 is just… no.

I’m not too sure the bikes look any better in person. The concept of the horizontal scheme is more understood when you can see the bikes from a different angle, but the red is no less ugly and the color schemes are still tasteless.

Also - I am from the matte-paint camp. I’m all about a bike done up properly with a matte finish. Takes a little effort to keep clean, but worth the extra time.

P3, meh. I agree that the white on the BB seems to be odd and breaks it all up. That whole gray look gets old really quick and just makes the bike look cheap in my opinion.

P5. That red color does the bike such a disservice. It just hides all of it’s awesome features. Might as well be bright orange. It’s interesting because FVL’s green version is also loud but the green/black worked great in that version.

I’ll stick to my oldie but goodie P2.

The original P5 paint of red black and white has always struck me as perfect for a racing rig. I do not like the new all-red P5 whatsoever. I do however love my 2008 P2 red, grey and white and will stick with that!

Looks like an engineer painted them.

That red P5 will look great with some stealth wheels, black saddle and bar tape.

Looks like an engineer painted them.

Bingo!

P3 is ok, but I liked the previous one better.

P5 is just… no.

word.

ugly. in triathlon, ugly is a no go.

I strongly dislike the new P5 colors, but I’ve met some people that like it, so I guess it’s a personal toss up. I think what really should be done is have the frames painted a base color and then offer pre-cut color panels made of 3M Vinyl Vehicle tape so that the user can customize the bike to their liking. It would be a win-win for everyone.
