New Blackberry -- anyone else having trouble w/ ST?

I have a new one (had the old husky version, then the newer slim kind, now what I think is called “Edge”).

ST comes over very tiny, and if I zoom, it just makes it wider so you have to scroll to the side. Awful. Then I can log in, type in text, but the buttons for previewing or actually posting the response don’t respond.

Are others having similar issues? Am I doing something wrong in my setup?

Blackberry’s proprietary web browser sucks.

Download Opera Mini (free online) - works much better with web pages appearing as they are supposed to. You can’t make it the default browser though, so when you click a link, the stupid Backberry browser still launches.

I have a storm and can get here but it always formats funky vs. other sites which come in just fine. Not sure why.

Here are a couple nice “home made” ads for Blackberry versus Apple.

Can’t download stuff – company-issued bbery doesn’t allow it. Doh!

My trouble is with all sites, btw. Well, the display is ST-specific, because sites like Yahoo Mail looks awesome. But I can’t reply to any of them (which is a huge problem for webmail now).

O come on. I think you need to slip your IT guy(s) some cheese then. The Blackberry is an AWESOME device with the right software (i.e. empower e-mail viewer, etc.). Without? Just mediocre. Still a better business too than an iPhone (which beats it handily at most other things except it’s intended use - as a phone/communication device)

try Skyfire Web browser.
Fred.

If you have to download it, no dice. The IT peeps won’t let anyone do that on company devices.
