New Bike Trainer

I’ve had the same old Blackburn trainer for more than 15 years now. Definitely time for a new one as I can no longer get a sufficient power-generating workout.

What are the postives/negatives of the Kinetic vs. Cycle-ops? Any others out there that are better?

I’m looking for info on ease of use, accurate “road-feel”, power/watt capabilities, etc.

Thanks!!!

have you looked at 1-up?

Second that, check out 1upUSA. Try it out for 60 days and if you don’t like it–send it back, no hassle. Also, see the reviews at RoadBikeReview.

You might consider rollers, or below Marcee is using a Kinetic trainer.

.

Does anyone else out there use one of these 1up models?

I’ve never heard of it…

Have one for over a year, after demo-ing several others. There is no comparison. This unit is quiet, solid and ‘feels’ like being on the road where the others feel like being on a trainer. Two others tried my unit over the winter and then ordered their own on the strength of one ride.

Go to this page, read the reviews, and place the order. 'nuff said.
