Got my new bike this week!! What a different/great feeling to be on a bike that is fitted right (FIST). I chose for the Softride TT because I want and am going longer (1/2 and 1/1), and I am really pleasantly surprised with how little bounce I have on the beam.
Against conventional wisdom I will ride it in White Lake 1/2, because both my coach and my fitter encouraged me to; I am one of those rare exceptions to the rule for my old bike is so ill fitting. So next weekend I will be Beaming" it!
Also kudos to the LBS. Mike Beaman (FIST) and Cid took time and attention in fitting me correctly and setting up a follow up to the fit since the change between the two bike fits is huge. Everyone has their biases and so do I , Cid Cardoso has been very helpful and encouraging from the monent I re-enteren the tri sport last year, and my bike purchase experience was no different.
I laid down a lot of $$ and I had a great experience buying it, I’ve been to other stores closer to home and it seemed like a privelege to be in the store, or so it felt to me. So thank you Inside Out sports!
