There have been several NB commercials that have been playing during the tournament games today. They’re all good. Plus we all get to see the NB banner above here on Slowtwitch

There’s something about the guy sitting with a generic bag of fast-food in this one that really appealed to me. Could be that I’m that guy right now.
NB’s advertising account was just under review and awarded to a new agency - hence the new creative you’re seeing. I think BBDO New York has the business, but I’m not certain about that. I like the spots too, but they feel a lot like something I’ve seen in the past (from Nike maybe).
I forget who put the ad out, had the poster on my wall in highschool and there was a guy running in the rain and it said something like “There is a place where it is always 80 degrees and sunny, and all the second place finishers train.” Loved that

What I’m really curious about is who does the voice-over – I know I recognize it from other things. It sounds a bit like the “real men of genius” ads.
