Reminds me of the QR stem for height adjustability.
Not sure I like what looks like a proprietary clamp area for the bar. This would severely limit your options; and the video doesn’t solve for that.
Also, missing out on cable routing that you can find in other after market aero stems.
I would be at the long end, but for someone who required a shorter stem there is s lot of extra material hanging out there.
That said, I like the concept of adjustable aero stem.
Hard to imagine that those effectively two flat plates can be made stiff enough to hold a round bar clamped tight or even an aero shaped bar firm enough to stop flex and potential creaking.
Maybe possible, but at the wieghts they claim it would be a spectacular engineering result.
If that had UCI approval then it would of course become the de-facto aerobar you have when you cannot have an aerobar.
As an industrial design it is a good concept for the end user, but I am going to be impressed if it can make it past the concept stage without a major re-think.
Yea pretty cool, though if you only needed 80mm stem, and this thing is 255mm, you got this big protuberance sitting out there…

.
Didn’t meet its target by the looks of it. Perhaps they were just testing the waters.
I didn’t back it as didn’t look strong or capable of clamping bars well.
