Tony Horton, Jeff Morris and Bill Justus have joined forces with a shared vision: to create a new generation of premier ultra-distance events built around athletes, iconic destinations, professional organization and an exceptional race experience. Beginning in 2027, that vision will connect three extraordinary endurance destinations: Noosa, Australia 12 yrs running Wānaka, New Zealand 1 yr old Penticton & the South Okanagan, Canada And we are incredibly excited to announce that UM Brand UM Canada is coming to the Okanagan in 2027. The Okanagan has long been one of Canada’s great endurance-sport destinations. Its lakes, mountains, vineyards, challenging roads and deep history in triathlon make it a natural home for an event of this magnitude. But this is about much more than another race. It’s about people. It’s about the Ultra Tribe — athletes, crews, volunteers, families and supporters brought together by a challenge that few people will ever fully understand. It’s about the UltraFriends we meet along the way — friendships forged through long days, difficult moments, laughter, sacrifice and unforgettable experiences. And it’s about our teammates — because nobody reaches an ultra-distance finish line alone.
