I know there are a lot of SF Bay area ST’ers. I just moved up from Orange County where I used to go to Edge CycleSports (lots of you probably know Hank who is a great guy). In any case we’re living in Palo Alto now and I’m looking for an LBS that is tri-friendly and has expertise in Cervelos. Thanks for any leads.
check out Forward Motion in Danville, or Transition Sports in Oakland.
Danville is a good hour plus from Stanford. Transition Sports is now online only and bike fitting, though the bike shop (Montano Velo) is still brick & mortar.
Sorry IAG, can’t help you on the Peninsula, but the Cervelo site lists two dealers.

Actually that is very helpful. Page Mill Road is where my office is located so I know exactly how to get there. Thanks Cathy
There are several excellent bike shops next to the campus:
–Campus Bike Shop 551 Salvatierra
–Bike Connection 2011 El Camino Real
–Velo Tech 621 High (favorite)
–Palo Alto Bikes 171 University (large inventory)
Good luck,
Mark
.
We’re at the intersection of Park Blvd. and Page Mill Rd., next to the train tracks. Hours are Tues to Fri from 10 to 6 and Sat from 1-6
We carry bikes from Cervelo and Kuota at the moment.

A second recommendation for Cupertino Bike Shop. The owner not only sells but time trials on Cervelos and sponsors two tri clubs.
Don’t waste your time looking for a tri-specific shop. Go to Chain Reaction in Menlo Park (on El Camino) and talk to Mike Jacobowsky. Best LBS around (I’ve been to all of them), and Mike has a true passion for cycling (although it wouldn’t surprise me if he was headed to France next week). On another note, if you are attending Stanford, join the tri Team. Eric Bean, the coach is fantastic, and I had the best two years of my life studying and racing there.
