I’ve been running in the Brooks Burns for a few years, and since it was discontinued I have managed to special order them or find them on EBay. Unfortunately the supply has dried up and now I’m forced to find a new favorite shoe. I’m 5’4 and 112lb with small frame and neutral gait. I’ve tried the Saucony Fastwitch, but there’s too much heel and not enough forefoot cushioning (I’m a fore/mid foot striker). I’ve also given a Newtons a try but I didn’t like the forefoot lugs - I got butt pain when I ran in them :-(.
I would definitely NOT replace her.
