have both the nano and the latest video one
anyone use very good armbands? Figured I’d post here since you all understand what I mean by comfortable (ie running many miles while sweating and sometimes in extreme temps)

I have one and use it all the time for my iPod video.
I got one like that from ebay. It works well because the iPod is held completely in the armband and doesn’t stick out and touch your skin - which makes it wet when you sweat.
It was comfortable because of the material and the velcro.
And the price is right

I have this same one from MicroCenter. It was actually cheaper than BestBuy. Works great, and keeps it dry on rainy days.
Another vote for this one. It also comes with an extra cover for added protection when necessary. I also like that I can switch between armband and belt clip.
Hey, there is a company called LimbGear that makes I-pod sleeves to fit the Nano and Mini with an extra pocket for untility. It’s made of polartec fabic as well. Although it’s not waterproof it is water resistant…
I think the best one is from Nike. The nano is completely enclosed, but, the buttons still work. It is flexible and comfortable. This is the best one I have found.

east to switch from belt clip to armband.
cover works great for extra protection.
easy to connect sync cable to the bottom with out having to remove ipod from case.
works well in very sweaty conditions.
I’ve been using one for my ipod video for over a yr now and just bought one for my niece’s nano
Before spending $35 for a case to run with, think about getting a new model Shuffle and using that for running. It’s ridiculously small and light, you can just clip it anywhere…I got one to run with instead of my Mini, it’s awesome.
