Need HELP with salt loss

Slowtwitchers help. I have a problem with extreme salt loss. It usually gets to me at the end of long races or workouts. I am in the process of calculating my exact numbers, but based on the fact I am covered with salt after my workouts, I know my loss is high. I have found a pretty good way to keep it in check during long rides with high salt solution and NA tabs, but what to do on the run. I am getting ready for an iron distance race and don not want to melt down due to salt loss.

I “appear” to be a big salter as well but can’t honestly say how much. I was looking for a way to calculate salt/electrolyte loss. The reason is putting too much salt in can be as dangerous as not enough.

For me it is a two fold problem as I’m not a big water loss guy yet am constantly salt caked.

Keeping it in is fairly simple, just add electrolytes to everything. Problem is knowing how much to add.
