Im trying to setup my race schedule this year and i’m trying to decide between two races. I’ve had bad luck in the past doing races without getting some fellow racer input, so i was wondering if anybody had any experience doing them. one is the Rockman Long course in loves park illinois, and the other is the High Cliff half ironman in sherwood wisconsin. I’d really appreciate any input. thanks.
I have done high cliff. Its a well run race, but you must like to run off road. The run is basically a trail run, but they are hard packed and not full of roots or rocks. At least as far as I remember. High Cliff is also home of the badger state games this year. Not sure that means anything more than you will get two shirts instead of one in the goody bag. Maybe a few more people.
