First timer here! I saw the FIESTA AMERICANA CONDESA CANCUN is host hotel, I can not reach to the hotel from the number they have listed and online reservations seem not working. Anyone know their 800 number? Also what are the other hotels to look for incase and most likely they are sold out?
I am planning to travel with minimum gear, any advice?

Did this race last year and it was a Furnace!! The host hotel is a distance from Punta Nizuc (swim/transition area, and finish at wet n’ wild). The JW Marriott, Omni, Melia Cancun, and Oasis are walking distance to the host hotel. Other hotels in the Zona Hotelera are a short taxi ride. We stayed at the JW Marriott and it was great.
If you are planning to buy items at the expo rather than bring, it was pretty sparse (a guy selling stuff out of 2 big dufflebags). CO2 cartridges were at a premium since you’re not supposed to bring them on flights.
I thought the biggest challenge was keeping cool on the run. No shade w/a heat index of 110F. Race was well run, and I imagine this year will be tighter.
